Pawhuska Loses Two Close Ones at Garber

Pawhuska played two close games against solid Garber teams on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, both games turned up losses. The boys fell 51-44 in overtime and the Lady Huskies fell 56-51.
Trailing by a point in overtime, this three-pointer from Jenson Snodgrass would be the lone points of the four minute overtime period for Pawhuska.
The Wolverines closed the game on a 9-0 run. That was aided by a technical foul called against coach Jason Snodgrass in the final ten seconds of the game. Garber closed the fourth quarter on a 9-2 run to force overtime. Lane Kyler, Darian West and Jenson Snodgrass all finished in double figures for Pawhuska.
The 56-51 Pawhuska loss was only the third one of the season for the Lady Huskies. After getting off to a slow offensive start, Pawhuska fought to get back in the game. A shot from Emily Curry gave the Lady Huskies a brief lead in the fourth before Garber went on to get the win.
