Dewey Stays at Home for Caney Valley
Brian McSweeney
Dewey basketball stays at home on Friday night as they take on the Caney Valley Trojans.
The Bulldoggers are 0-1 on the current homestand after an overtime loss to Oklahoma Union on Tuesday, 42-41, to drop their overall record to 5-6. Head coach Lance Knight shared his thoughts on how fatigue played a factor.
The Trojans come into Dewey with a record of 3-8. They lost to Nowata on Tuesday, 47-33. Despite the record, Caney Valley has been a tough test for Dewey in the past.
The Dewey boys will tip-off first in the homecoming special at 6 p.m. with the girls to follow at 7:30 p.m. We will have the boys game on KRIG 104.9 and KRIGTV.com.
