The Pawhuska Huskies knew Friday night's game against Glenpool was going to be difficult. It turned out to be just that, as the Warriors swept Pawhuska in both boys and girls action.

The Lady Huskies were facing the fifth ranked team in Class 4A. Glenpool controlled the game throughout, as the Lady Warriors went on to win 68-57. The Lady Warriors took a double digit lead early in the second quarter and kept that double digit edge for a majority of the game. There were times Pawhuska trimmed the lead to eight, such as this three-point play from Hannah Reynolds.

In the second half, Pawhuska trimmed the lead to eight on three seperate occassions, but were unable to get any closer. Reynolds finished with 23 points. Brooklyn Miles scored 22.

On the guys side, it was much the same in a 59-46 win for Glenpool. Pawhuska led by four at halftime, but the Warriors held Pawhuska to 16 points in the second half. To start the fourth quarter, Pawhuska trailed by seven, but this basket down low by Will Sweeden gave Pawhuska hope.

Jenson Snodgrass finished in double figures for Pawhuska. Canyon Hindman made his season debut for Pawhuska.

Up next for Pawhuska is a game at Barnsdall on Monday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. We will have that game for you on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
