OU head football coach Brent Venables had his weekly press conference on Tuesday and it was a long one.

Venables talked for nearly 40-minutes mostly about the Sooner offense, which has struggled.

Venables fired offensive coordinator Seth Littrell on Sunday, and this was his first press conference since.

Despite the Sooners offensive missteps this year, Venables says the past couple OU offenses were better, proving it isn’t a systemic issue with his teams. 

OU is a 20.5-point underdog at Ole Miss on Saturday morning at 11:00. This is the largest line where OU is not favored since 1997.
