Caney Valley football is 1-5 this season and coming off of a tough loss to Pawnee in Class A1 District in an 80-0 defeat. Despite the loss Head Coach Stephen Mitchell says that his players played hard against on of the districts best teams.

Caney Valley now shifts focus on an Oklahoma Union team that at 1-5 have lost 3 games by less than 10 points. Mitchell knows that the Cougars will be a tough test.

Caney Valley will travel to Oklahoma Union on Friday at 7.
