There continues to be a shuffling around in the high school football schedules across the area. Pawhuska announced on SUnday evening the Week One game on Sept. 6 will now be against Meeker in Pawhuska.

The original schedule had the Huskies playing a regular season game against the Bixby JV team that evening.

It is week No. 2 of the official offseason for high school football statewide. Most high school’s summer pride workouts officially started a week ago.

This also means the start of summer 7-on-7 workouts. Dewey will be in a passing league on Tuesday’s this summer. Pawhuska will also host an area 7-on-7 league on Tuesday nights at Ormond Beach Stadium.

Bartlesville will again head to a passing league in Bixby for the second straight season with other 6A east-side high schools.
