Fallen Osage County Captain to be Remembered

An Osage County Captain who died in a traffic collision at the intersection of State Highway 60 and State Highway 18 in 2022 will be remembered forever.
In honor of fallen captain Willie Hargraves, the state legislature introduced Senate Bill 191 to give that intersection a new name. Last Friday, a dedication ceremony was held with the new sign showing Hargraves' name to serve as a tribute.
The sign reads, "Captain William 'Willy' Hargraves Memorial Intersection."
