Bartlesville High will host its first playoff game since 2015, as the Bruins dispatched of Tahlequah easily during their regular season finale.

Bartlesville thumped the Tigers 51-20.

The Bruins wasted no time. BHS scored touchdowns on all seven of its drives to put the contest away early. It was mostly backups on the field for BHS in a quick second half.

It started with a trick play, running back PJ Wallace threw a 52 yard touchdown to Damien Niko.

Wallace would finish with four touchdowns on the night, one throwing, two rushing and one receiving. Up 44-7 with only second remaining before the third quarter Bartlesville tried one last play, a screen to Wallace, and of course it went for another long Bruin touchdown.

Wallace ended with 216 yards of total offense in only 2.5 quarters of work. Nate Neal was named our Patriot Family of Autos Player of the game. Neal threw for 250 yards in the first half.

Bartlesville will host Putnam City North on Friday night at Custer Stadium in the first round of the 6A-II playoffs. More on that coming up later on this week.
