A Dewey man was seen in Washington County Court on Tuesday on the charge of domestic abuse in front of a child. Bryan Hudson was arrested on Monday, Oct. 23rd after police responded to a domestic situation on the 300 block of N Oak St. When police arrived, Hudson told them that the alleged victim was “acting crazy” and leaving him.

When police made contact with the victim, she had bruising on her left eye and scratches along with markings on her neck and chest and was in visible distress. The victim told police that the markings all happened in the last two days when Hudson was allegedly pushing her around and got physical. The victim also told police that their oldest child was in the garage where the alleged incident took place on Monday.

Police made contact again with Hudson and he told police that the victim did the injuries to herself to get him in trouble. He was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Hudson was given a $5,000 bond and a new court date of Nov. 1st.
