'Beam-signing' Ceremony Held for Bartlesville Whataburger

The Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce held a "beam-signing" Tuesday morniog for the new Whataburger location that is under construction on Washington Boulevard, just south of Woodland Loop Road.
Chris Trail, the Oklahoma regional trainer for Whataburger, says the decision to come to Bartlesville was an easy one to make.
The Bartlesville Development Authority recruited Whataburger to build a restaurant in the city. Additionally, the restaurant franchisee will receive a $119,000 incentive from the city's Economic Development Fund.
Luther Franklin, who is the general manager for the Bartlesville location, says he is beginning to hire managers and shift leaders now. The hiring process of more team members will begin in November. Franklin says they are excited to bring more than 100 jobs to Bartlesville and are looking forward to being involved in the community.
Whataburger's Bartlesville location is scheduled to open in mid-December.
