Free Prescribed Fire Education Program

Date: August 18, 2026

Washington County Extension, NRCS, and the Conservation District will hold a Free Prescribed Fire Education Program on Thursday, 6pm, at the Washington County Fair Building.  Learn about burn plans, weather and safety considerations, equipment needs, cost-share opportunities, and best management practices for a successful prescribed burn.  Dinner provided by Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance.  RSVP by Tuesday by calling 918-331-9800, ext. 3.
