We have more on the new softball coach at Bartlesville High School.

Holden Yoder was announced as head man earlier this week. Yoder is a 2021 graduate of Adair High School and played college baseball at Northeastern Oklahoma State, where he graduated in 2025. After one year as an assistant softball and baseball coach at Wyandotte, he comes to Bartlesville to run one of the best girl’s athletic programs in recent memory.

Yoder says he is happy to step into a situation where Bartlesville’s former coach, Kyle Minton, is still around to help.

Minton is still at BHS as an Assistant Athletic and Activities Director.

Yoder talks about the first steps in taking over the program over the next few weeks.

Just like Minton, Yoder will coach both fast pitch and slow pitch softball. Bartlesville has been to the past five state tournaments at BHS over the past 2.5 years.
