Wright Talks Offseason Bruin FB

The OSSAA dead period begins on Saturday for high schoolers across the state of Oklahoma. This means that no high school owned facilities will be open to athletes to work over the seven-day period starting on June 29.

The dead period is designed to give athletes and coaches some time off before the stretch run of the offseason.

This dead period used to give the Glen Winget Tournament some issues, but the event is now a national qualifier for the Stan Musial World Series, making it exempt from the dead period rules.

We will have more on this dead period and upcoming events for Bartlesville High football with Bruin head coach and assistant AD Harry Wright on this week’s Bruin Buzz.
