Wilson Learned Lessons in First TU Season

Tulsa Football took the stage on Tuesday morning during the American Athletic Conference Media Days, as TU is looking to get back to form in 2024.

Head coach Kevin Wilson was no stranger to Oklahoma, he had been on staff at OU previously, but last year was his first season at TU. Tulsa went 4-8.

Wilson talks about things he learned during his first season guiding the Golden Hurricane.

The quarterback spot will be key for TU. It will be a battle into the fall between sophomore Cardell Williams and freshman Kirk Francis. Francis started the final two games of the season last year for TU, including a 29-27 win over East Carolina.

Williams played in nine games but missed the last three due to injury.

Tulsa football will air this fall on KRIG 104.9. TU opens against Northwestern State on Thursday, Aug. 29.
