All of Washington County is looking forward to a monster eight-man football matchup on Friday night in Bartlesville.

Wesleyan Christian School will host Copan in a battle at the top of Class C District 3.

WCS is coming off a big District-opening win at Oaks Mission this past Friday. Mustangs won, 21-14. Wesleyan Christian did it without two of their top offensive play makers. Starting quarterback Tyrel Cloud and No. 1 wide out Kael Siemers continue to be out with injuries.

James Wisdom, a freshman, started at quarterback and completed six passes. Head coach Curt Cloud talks about how some new guys did in the District win.

As for Friday night vs. Copan - this is a game WCS won by nearly 50-points in Copan a year ago. Copan has grown up and the Hornets coming off a blowout win over Bluejacket, so they are also at 1-0 in District play.

Cloud says Copan is much-improved after getting a year older.

This has been a game Wesleyan used to feel like it could win easily, Cloud says that will not be the case on Friday night.

A 7:00 kick off Silver Lake in Bartlesville, we have a feature on the Copan side of the game with Hornet head coach Marshall Foreman HERE.
