WCS Hopes to Learn Following Yale Loss

Wesleyan Christian School is one of couple area football teams with an early-season bye week.

The Mustangs are off on Friday before getting back at it in a couple of weeks.

WCS fell to Yale, 48-0 during its season opener last week. A tough result for a new group of starters and a first-year head coach in Blaine Landers.

Landers says despite the final score there were some positives to build on moving forward. 

Next game for Wesleyan Christian is at home against Keota on Sept. 13 in Bartlesville.
