Two New OKC Thunder Documentaries Debut This Week

Fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder have plenty to celebrate this week as two new documentaries spotlighting the team’s historic 2025 NBA championship season make their debut. The first, “Loud City,” premieres on NBA TV today, Wednesday, October 15th at 4:30 p.m. CT, offering an inside look at the Thunder’s road to the title. The film is narrated by Thunder forward Jalen Williams, who provides a player’s perspective on the defining moments, locker room energy, and community pride that fueled the championship run.
The celebration continues the next day with the release of “Starting 5” Season Two on Netflix, tomorrow, Thursday, October 16th. The docuseries features Shai Gilgeous-Alexander among five NBA stars, chronicling their journeys through the highs and pressures of the league. Viewers will get an intimate look at SGA’s leadership both on and off the court as he guided Oklahoma City to its first championship in franchise history.
