The NBA Draft kicks off on Wednesday from the Barclay’s Center in New York. It is another big step in a big offseason for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

OKC enters Wednesday with only one pick, it is the No. 12 overall selection acquired from the Houston Rockets.

Mock drafts do not really mean much, but a couple names most thrown out for OKC in multiple publications are Tidjane Salaun, a French forward. He is a 6-9, 218 pound 18-year-old, who has worked out with most franchises in the lottery.

Pittsburg guard Carlton Carrington and Purdue center Zach Edey are some others names thrown about.

The Thunder has already made some waves with the trade of Josh Giddey to the Chicago Bulls last week.

Giddey met with the Chicago media on Tuesday, he said he talked with Thunder GM Sam Presti and asked for a trade following those conversations.

The No. 12 pick OKC has was part of the trade of Russell Westbrook for Chris Paul in 2019.
