Sooners Win Another Softball Title

It is a record fourth national championship in a row for OU softball, as the dynasty and legacy of Sooner softball continues to grow.

OU again blasted through Texas on Thursday night, as the Sooners broke out the brooms in the second game of the best of three National Championship Series.

In game two it was Oklahoma over the Longhorns, 8-4.

Here is how the final out sounded on ESPN.

It was tied early, but Sydney Sanders played the hero. In the fourth, Sanders hit a bases-clearing double that would end up putting the Sooners in the driver’s seat.

OU finishes the year at 58-7.

Sooner athletics will transition to the SEC beginning next month.
