Sooners Surge While Cowboy's Swoon

Maybe the biggest win in the Brent Venables era of Oklahoma football, as the Sooners took care of Michigan in Norman late on Saturday, 24-13.
Quarterback John Mateer had a great night, going 21-34 and running for 74 yards.
Here is how the final call sounded this past weekend.
Sooners are 2-0 and go to Temple this coming Saturday.

Meanwhile Oklahoma State suffered its second embarrassing loss in the Pokes last three games. Oregon was all over the Pokes from the opening seconds, beating OSU 69-3.
Two pick-sixes late in the game made the score even more lopsided than it already was.
Head coach Mike Gundy talked about the loss in the postgame.
Cowboys are off this weekend and will host Tulsa a week from Friday.
