Sooners Surge as Cowboy's Swoon
In college football over the weekend, Oklahoma dispatched of Tulsa with ease, while Oklahoma State suffered one of its worst losses in two decades.
TU scored some points early against the Sooners, but Oklahoma handled the Golden Hurricane from the opening kick. OU beat Tulsa, 66-17. Game was never in doubt. OU quarterback Dillion Gabriel was an outrageous 28-31 for 421 yards and five touchdowns.
OU is 3-0 and next takes on Cincinnati in the Sooner’s final-ever Big 12 opener at 11:00 AM on 100.1 - KYFM.
Meanwhile things are getting dicey in Stillwater, as Oklahoma State got ran out of Boone Pickens’ Stadium by South Alabama. The Jaguars beat OK-State 33-7. Cowboys faltered with penalties and miscues on offense early, then things got worse from there.
All of it front of a sold-out crowd. Head coach Mike Gundy gives his thoughts on the loss.
Oklahoma State will take on another struggling club in Iowa State on the road in its Big 12 opener this weekend at 3:00 on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
