Sauer Excels in Wind for BHS Golf

Bartlesville High boy’s golf continues to impress as BHS had to battle the wind with pretty good results in a tournament at Union earlier this week.

BHS had one of its youngsters in Carter Sauer shoot a team-high two over par with a 73 as the highlight. Jay Wasemiller shot seven over at 78 on Monday. 

Bruin boy’s golf coach Carl Holmes says now that the calendar has turned to April, it is all about taking small steps forward.

The 6A State preview on the guy’s side is coming up at Hillcrest Country Club with both the girl’s and boy’s state events at Hillcrest next month.
