Preview of Bartlesville at Piedmont

If you missed it on Wednesday night, it was a great playoff edition of the Bartlesville Football Coaches Show, as Bartlesville High head coach Harry Wright joined KWON at Dink’s Pit BBQ to talk about the Bruins upcoming playoff matchup at Piedmont on Friday.

The show featured six different players and all three of Bartlesville’s coordinators.

Piedmont will be no easy task. The Wildcats are 7-3 and knocked off Stillwater in the regular season. That win set Piedmont up with a chance to win the District heading into Week 10.

Bruin offensive coordinator Brandon Webb talks about keys for the Bruin offense.

Meanwhile it is probably Bartlesville’s defense that will ultimately decide how the game goes. Piedmont runs an offensive resembling the triple-option. An interesting wrinkle and something BHS has not seen this year.

Linebacker Davin Carter talks about some keys for Bartlesville’s defense.

BHS enters the game at 3-7. The Bruins blew out Capitol Hill last week, 55-0 to grab the five-seed out of 6A-II District 2. Wright says he likes where his team is heading into the postseason.

More on this game planned for Friday. We will have it for you from Piedmont on KWON and KWONTV.com.
