Fall camps start next week at areah high schools and Oologah has high hopes of making a deep postseason run under first year head coach Sam Noble. The Mustangs made the playoffs last season, as Noble was the Offensive Coordinator during the last two seasons. Noble takes over for Darrin Waggoner who left for a position in Arkansas and says that he returns a solid group of players from last year and there are a couple position battles to watch for during Fall Camp.

Noble says that Braxton Davis is someone who may emerge as the top receiver this fall and hopes he can take a leadership position in the role.

He stresses that his players have put in a lot of effort in the offseason before camp and says how they come together will be big.

Noble and Oologah open their season on Thursday August 29. at Vinita.
