On Wednesday morning, Pawhuska senior Noah Wilson made it official by putting ink to paper, confirming he will further his football career at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. Wilson has always dreamed of playing football at the collegiate level and he talks about what stuck out most about Missouri Southern State.

From the linebacker position, Wilson finished his Pawhuska career with 416 tackles and led the state in tackles in 2023. Wilson says he will have to make a slight adjustment heading into next year, though.

Coach Matt Hennesy got to see Wilson develop in his six years as a Husky head coach. Hennesy said Wilson's on field talent is immense, but it his leadership that can't be replaced.

In each of Hennesy's six years as head coach at Pawhuska, at least one football player has received a scholarship to continue playing at the next level.
