Pawhuska Gets Easy Opening Round Playoff Win

Friday night's first round home playoff game was a good one for the Pawhuska Huskies, as they walked away with a 48-6 win over Panama. It was complete domination from the start.
After holding Panama to a three-and-out on the opening possession of the game, the Husky offense went to work with an impressive scoring drive that finished with this Vann Wildcat touchdown.
On the ensuing defensive possession, Jackson Arnett recovered a fumble. Three plays later, Wildcat found the endzone again. Leading it 24-0 in the late stages of the first quarter, quarterback Kane Foreman showed off his arm strength on this 51-yard touchdown pass.
An opening interception that Corlin Cass returned for a touchdown out of halftime allowed for a running clock in the second half.
Pawhuska's win means the Huskies get to travel to Wynnewood next Friday. That is a game we will carry for you on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m.
