Pawhuska Dominates CV, Brooklyn Miles Goes for 46
The Pawhuska Lady Huskies got a commanding 65-46 home win over the Caney Valley Lady Trojans on Tuesday night to advance to the regional championship game, which will be played Saturday. The story of the game was Pawhuska's Brooklyn Miles, who finished with a career high 46 points.
Miles had quite the exclamation mark to end the first half, giving the Lady Huskies 22-point lead.
Pawhuska kept things going in the second half, as the closest Caney Valley got was 17 points.
Caney Valley's Presley Smith 20 points.
Pawhuska will play Fairview in the regional championship game on Saturday evening. That is a game you can hear on 99.1 FM KPGM and audio will be available at KPGMTV.com.
Caney Valley will face the winner of Nowata and Fairland on Friday afternoon.
