Oologah football set for 2024 with new Head Coach

The Oologah Mustangs have been a competitive football program in the area in recent years, making the playoffs last season. This upcoming season Oologah will be different for the Mustangs as Sam Noble will take over as head coach for Darrin Wagoner who accepted a position in Arkansas. Noble, who was the offensive coordinator for Oologah the last two years talked to Bartlesville Radio recently looks forward to being the head coach of his alma mater.
 
 After graduating from Oologah in 2013, Noble played College football for University of Central Oklahoma before starting his coaching career at Norman High School.  Noble says that being on the coaching staff for the last two seasons is a huge advantage going into his first year as head coach of the Mustangs, and the outlook for the season in positive.
 
Noble and Oolegah will open the season on Thursday Aug 29. at Vinita at 7 p.m.
