OKWU Women's Volleyball Wins KCAC Tournament

Oklahoma Wesleyan women's volleyball won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship on Saturday night.


The Lady Eagles topped Bethel in McPherson, Kan. in straight sets, 3-0.


OKWU entered the conference tournament as the 4-seed after a three-way tiebreak involving Bethel dropped the Lady Eagles a few spots in the rankings. They did not lose a set throughout the entire tournament.


Head coach Tracie Gillette talked about the competitive nature of the KCAC.


Evangel is 30-5 overall. They finished 12-2 in the KCAC.


This is the third year in a row that OKWU has won the KCAC tournament.


The Lady Eagles will find out their NAIA national tournament assignment on Monday at 4 p.m.
