The Lady Eagles closed out the regular season on a 16-match win streak, winning all 12 conference matches. They are 21-5 overall heading into the KCAC tournament this week.

A season ago, OKWU was led by KCAC Freshman of the Year Rocio Espinal in a 17-5 campaign. They finished third in conference play with a 10-2 conference record before falling in the conference tournament championship match to McPherson College. OKWU qualified for last year's NAIA national tournament.
