OKWU Women's Soccer wraps off one loss seaso

The Oklahoma Wesleyan University women's soccer enjoyed a 2024 season with a lot of success, finishing 16-4-1, their only loss to MidAmerican Nazararene 1-0 at home at the OKlahoma Wesleyan Soccer Complex on Saturday Nov. 23. Lady Eagles Coach Ivan Ristic says that despite the disapointment he is proud of the effort from his team.
 
OKWU outplayed MNU for much of the in the first round of the National Tournament. Ristic says that Soccer is one of those sports where the better team doesn't always win, and that's a cruel part of the sport.
 
OKWU had a historic Senior Class that saw them reach new heights, helped this season by 24 goals and nine asssists from Senior Tania Mocholi. Ristic comments on what made the made the senior class special.
 
OKWU Women's soccer is expected to contend for a KCAC title and bid in the National Tournament yet again in 2025.
