OKWU Sweeps Conference Honors
The Oklahoma Wesleyan men did something the Eagles hope to do quite a bit this basketball season, they swept the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference weekly awards, which were handed out on Monday.
OKWU placed DJ Talton Jr. as the defensive player of the week, with Jaden Lietzke as the offensive player of the week.
For Talton Jr, the honor came after a 6 steal, 6 assist, & 3 rebound game. Talton Jr. is coming off of an KCAC Defensive Player of the Year selection.
Lietzke had a great 23 points, 10 rebounds, 1 block, and 2 assists in a blowout win against Southwestern Christian on Friday night.
