OKWU Sports Excel Over Weekend
Oklahoma Wesleyan fall sports continue to roll, as it was a sweep this past weekend.
The Lady Eagle volleyball team bounced back following their first conference loss last weekend. OKWU swept Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday after a mid-week win over Saint Mary.
The wins move Wesleyan to 18-2 overall and 7-1 in KCAC play. The Lady Eagles are off until Saturday when they next travel to Bethany.
Women’s soccer improved to 13-1-1 on the year with a road win at Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday, as well. Lady Eagles are a perfect 10-0 in KCAC play.
Meanwhile the Eagle men’s soccer team also beat KWU on Saturday, 2-1. The Eagle men are 9-0-1 in conference play and 11-0-3 on the year. They next have a matchup with Bellevue on Wednesday at home.
