OKWU soccer dominant in wins over McPherson
Oklahoma Wesleyan University had another outstanding weekend of competition as undefeated and NAIA #9 ranked women’s soccer program posted a whopping 13-0 win over McPherson College. It was the largest margin of victory for the Lady Eagles since a 16-0 win over Sterling College on Sept. 16 2022.
Senior Forward Tania Mocholi had a huge day for OKWU, as the Valencia Spain native scored four goals. Sophomore Linn Joelssonn had a hat-trick as a substitute while defensively the Eagles only allowed one McPherson shot in the match.
OKWU improved to 7-0-2 and have one of their toughest tests in KCAC play on Wednesday when they host 6-1-2 Avila University. At 5 pm.
In men’s soccer, OKWU stifled McPherson College 4-0 to win their 6th match in a row. Joao Neves had a pair of goals as the the NAIA #4 ranked Eagles outshot the Bulldogs 31-4 in the win. They will host Avila on Wednesday.
