OKWU Men's Soccer Ranked Top Team in Country
Oklahoma Wesleyan men's soccer is ranked number one in the nation, according to the latest NAIA rankings.
This is the first time the Eagles have been ranked at the top spot this season.
OKWU has currently won seven straight. They are 11-0-3 overall, and 9-0-1 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Eagles are in command of the top spot in the KCAC standings.
If they hold on to the top spot, this season would be their seventh in a row and ninth in the last 10 years that OKWU wins the regular season conference championship.
The Eagles grinded out a road win at Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday, 2-1. Their non-conference finale is next on home field on Wednesday night against 24th ranked Bellevue University. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
