OKWU Men and Women Soccer in Second Round of KCAC Tourney
Both OKWU men and women’s soccer squads are still kicking in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament to continue their strong 2023 campaigns. Both teams sit with a near identical record with the guys at 15-1-3 overall, and the ladies at 14-2-3.
For the guys, they beat Saint Mary on Friday by way of 4-1 thanks to two goals from Stefan Cvetanovic .
On the womens side, they also won last Friday as they beat Avila College 5-0. They were led by Tania Mocholi with three goals, and Elise Lofnertz with the other two goals.
Both teams will compete Wednesday in the second round of the KCAC tournament in Wichita, KS. The women will take on #4 seeded Ottawa at 5 pm, and the guys take on #4 seeded Friends College at noon.
