OKWU Hoops Travels to Ottawa

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball is back in action on Wednesday evening for Ottawa University.
 
Both Eagle clubs conclude a three-game road trip with their second meeting against the Braves. 
 
On the women's side, the Lady Eagles are 1-1 on the road trip. They beat Southwestern College (KS) on Wednesday and fell to Sterling College. Head coach Heidi Messer talked her team's steadiness during the last two games.
 
The Lady Eagles enter Wednesday's contest with a record of 8-16 overall and 4-14 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).
 
On the men's side, the Eagles, also 1-1 on the current road trip, are in a battle for the top spot in the conference standings. They lead Friends University and McPherson College by two games with four to go. The top five teams in the KCAC standings are 10 games above .500 or better overall. Head coach Donnie Bostwick talked about the nature of the KCAC preparing them for the postseason.
 
The Eagles enter Wednesday's contest with an overall record of 21-3 and 16-2 in the KCAC.
 
The Lady Eagles will get the night started at 6 p.m. with the men to follow around 8 p.m. Both games can be heard on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
