OKWU Hoops Travels to Leavenworth

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball is back in action on Wednesday evening for another Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader away from home.
This time, OKWU makes a trip to Leavenworth, Kan. to take on the University of Saint Mary.
Last time around, the Eagles split with Bethany. The Lady Eagles dropped their game by 11 points, the Eagles survived with a two point win.
On the women's side, the Lady Eagles are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Swedes on Saturday. OKWU fell, 64-53. Head coach Heidi Messer talked about the team finding a balance in the second half of the season.
The Lady Eagles enter the contest at 5-9 overall and 1-7 in KCAC play.
On the men's side, the Eagles have played two of their highest scoring games over the last two times on the floor. The Eagles got by Bethany, 83-81, and beat Spurgeon College on Monday night, 127-106.
The Eagles forced 24 turnovers on Monday night and turned them into 43 points.
The Lady Eagles will get the evening started at 5:30 p.m. with the men to follow around 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM - KPGM.
