OKWU Hoops Returns Monday for Tabor College

Oklahoma Wesleyan is back in action for a rare Monday evening Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) doubleheader against Tabor College.
 
Both Eagle clubs were scheduled to host Tabor on Saturday afternoon, but the games were postponed due to inclement weather.
 
On the women's side, the Lady Eagles are coming off a rough outing in Springfield, Mo. at Evangel University. The Lady Eagles fell last Wednesday on the road, 87-50. Head coach Heidi Messer talked about the progression of her younger players this season.
 
Last time against Tabor, the Lady Eagles fell on the road on Nov. 15, 78-46. The Bluejays are 8-11 overall and 6-7 in the KCAC.
 
On the men's side, the Eagles are on a seven game winning streak. They escaped Springfield with a 75-72 win over the Valor. OKWU is 17-2 overall and 12-1 in KCAC play. They currently hold a two-game lead for the top spot in the conference standings with McPherson College, Bethel College and Friends University battling for the top spot.
 
Head coach Donnie Bostwick talked about his team separating themselves from the rest of the pack without key starters such as Nick Bene and a limited Humberto Kentish, Jr.
 
The Lady Eagles will get Monday's action underway at 3 p.m. with the men to follow around 5 p.m. Both games can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM - KPGM.
