OKWU Hoops Meets Friends in KCAC Doubleheader
Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball is back in action on Saturday afternoon for another Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader.
Both OKWU clubs take on Friends University for the second time this season.
On the women's side, the Lady Eagles are searching for their second conference win. Last time around, OKWU fell on the road to the University of Saint Mary, 88-60, on Wednesday. The Lady Eagles are 5-10 overall and 1-8 in the KCAC.
On the men's side, the OKWU men have been surviving with two starters out. The Eagles picked up a big conference win on Wednesday over Saint Mary, 80-75. OKWU is 13-2 overall and 8-1 in KCAC play.
With two starters out, head coach Donnie Bostwick talked about the impact of his team's depth.
The Lady Eagles will get the afternoon started at 3 p.m. with the men to follow around 5 p.m. at the Mueller Sports Center. Both games can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM - KPGM.
