Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball is back in action on Wednesday night at home for the Avila Eagles.

Both OKWU clubs are coming off a sweep over Tabor College in two entertaining games on Monday night.

On the women's side, the Lady Eagles of Oklahoma Wesleyan have won two of their last three games. Monday's win over Tabor was their first over the Bluejays since 2023. After falling by 32 on the road against Tabor in November, head coach Heidi Messer talked her team evolving from November to now.

On the men's side, OKWU is still sitting atop the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) standings. The Eagles are 18-2 overall, 13-1 in conference play and have won eight straight. They beat Tabor on Monday, 78-76.

In what will be a three-game week by Saturday, head coach Donnie Bostwick weighed the pros and cons of a busier week.

The Lady Eagles will get the evening started at 5:30 p.m. with the men to follow around 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM - KPGM.
