OKWU Girls Aim for Sweep, Guys Look for Revenge
OKWU basketball is getting set to hit the road Wednesday to take on KCAC foe Southwestern in a mid-week conference double header. On the women’s side, they’re trying to complete the season sweep of the Moundbuilders as the lady Eagles won last time, 70-66.
On the guys side, they are going for some revenge as Southwestern handed them their only loss of the season back in December, 79-67. OKWU Head Coach Donnie Bostwick talks about last games results and his thoughts on the upcoming matchup.
Since the December loss, the OKWU men have won 13-straight, with 11-of those being by double-digits and sit at 21-1. Eagles and Moundbuilders Wednesday night from Stewart Field House, the oldest basketball facility west of the Mississippi.
Women tip at 5 pm with the guys to follow at 7 pm on KWON AM 1400 FM 93.3 & 95.1 and Sports Talk 99.1 FM KPGM.
