OKWU Fall Sports Complete Seasons
Fall sports at Oklahoma Wesleyan officially came to a close over the weekend, with women's volleyball and women's soccer both getting eliminated in the national tournament.
Lady Eagle soccer fell in the national semifinals to the University of the Cumberlands on Saturday evening, 1-0, in Pensacola, Fla. This was the first time in program history that OKWU women's soccer advanced to a national semifinal.
The Lady Eagles finish their season with an overall record of 21-2-2, capping it off with another Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championship.
Women's volleyball also had their season come to a close over the weekend. The Lady Eagles fell to Bellevue University in pool play of the national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa in five sets to end their season. This was the third year in a row OKWU women's volleyball advanced to the final site of the tournament.
Lady Eagle volleyball finishes their season with an overall record of 26-5 and a KCAC tournament championship.
