Oklahoma Wesleyan men's basketball standout Tamaje Izuagbe has been named an NAIA First Team All-American.

Izuagbe, in just his first full season as a consistent starter for a 30-win OKWU team this season, led the way for the Eagles. He averaged 18.2 points per game this season and 6.2 rebounds per game. Izuagbe was named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Player of the Year.

As a team this season, OKWU finished 30-4 overall, 20-2 in KCAC play. The Eagles won the KCAC regular season and tournament titles. They were eliminated in the round of 16 of the national tournament in Kansas City.

Izuagbe is the latest addition to a long list of Eagles over the years that have been named NAIA All-Americans. OKWU has landed at least one All-American every year since the 2020-21 season.

Additionally, Izuagbe announced on social media Monday morning he will be entering the transfer portal. He is a 6-foot-6-inch sophomore from Burleson, Texas.
