OKWU Basketball Looks to Replace Two Key Spots

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball will look a bit different come start of the season this winter as they saw the graduation of long-time players in Kaleb Stokes and Taylen Miller. Stokes and Miller graduate with four conference tournament titles, and multiple appearances in the NAIA Tournament Round of Eight.

With those guys leaving, they are plagued with trying to fill two starting spots. Bostwick talks about his philosophy when it comes to roster turnover and having to fill spots on a yearly basis.

Even with the departure of Stokes and Miller, they will still return three starters in former conference player of the year in Jaden Lietzke, reigning conference DPOTY winner Derrick Talton Jr., and fifth-year senior Dillon Phillip. All three will be seniors leading the charge to try and win another conference title and get to the NAIA promise land in Kansas City.

They also return a key amount of reserve players from last season that include Jaden Wilson, Paul Glasscock, Nick Bene, Gunnar Gordon and more. Bostwick talks about how some of those guys have come along the last few months.

We will have more coverage on the Eagles as the summer months roll along.
