OKWU Basketball Hits the Road Mid-Week for Conference Clash
OKWU men and women basketball hit the road Wednesday evening as they get prepped for a midweek conference battle with St. Mary’s. On the ladies side, they’re trying to get out of a funk as they have lost six of their first seven games this season. The Lady Eagles are being coached by Head Coach Heidi Messer who is now in her second year with the program.
It's been a rough start for Messer and company, and she talks about how she plans to right the ship.
On the guys side, the Eagles are sporting an undefeated record through seven games with a most recent win over Ottawa, 59-55. The Eagles defense has been stellar this season, which is something expected under Head Coach Donnie Bostwick.
