Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball wrapped up their season just over three weeks ago when the Eagles went 0-2 in the regional round of the NAIA tournament. Wesleyan suffered two one-run heart breakers back-to-back as they fell to William Carey (Miss.) 5-6, and Mid-America Christian 4-5.

After getting some time off to digest the end of the season, Eagle Head Coach Kirk Kelley had this to say on the losses.

Even with the tough losses to end the season, Kelly knows that they still accomplished some great things this season. Heading into the KCAC postseason tournament, the Eagles needed to go undefeated and win the crown to get to the NAIA tournament, and that’s what they did.

Kelly reflects back to whirlwind final weeks of the season.

Oklahoma Wesleyan finished the year at 35-20 with their first conference tournament crown since 2019, and their first appearance back in the NAIA tournament since 2022.
