OKWU Baseball Heads Into Final Week of Season

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball has just three games left in the regular season until the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) tournament starts up.
 
The Eagles head into the final weekend of the season with an overall record of 30-16, they are 21-12 in the KCAC, good for fourth in the conference standings. OKWU has won 10 of their last 12 games.
 
Head coach Kirk Kelley talks about what's been working for the team over the past few weeks.
 
OKWU was in action on Tuesday in a come from behind win over Evangel University. The Eagles trailed 6-2 after two innings and came back to win the game, 12-10.
 
Pitching has played a factor during the current run for the Eagles. OKWU has two shoutouts and has held opponents to five runs or less seven times over the last 12 games.
 
Kelley talks about a few arms that have stood out.
 
OKWU wraps up the regular season this weekend with a three game series on the road for Sterling. First pitch in the series opener is Friday at 2 p.m.
