OKU Hoops Meets Stroud in Elimination Game

Oklahoma Union basketball faces elimination on Thursday night against Stroud in the 2A playoffs.
 
The Cougars fell in their district championship game last weekend to No. 15 Kansas, 53-27.

On the other side, Stroud enters the contest with an overall record of 6-16. The Tigers fell in their district championship game to No. 14 Summit Christian, 61-42.
 
The winner of Thursday's game will play Wynnewood on Friday night in Stroud. Wynnewood dropped their winner's bracket game to No. 4 Vanoss, 53-45.
 
Tip-off in Stroud for Oklahoma Union in Thursday's game is set for 7:30 p.m. OKU has to win three straight games to advance to area.
 
On the girl's side, the Lady Cougars will meet Summit Christian in another elimination game. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. in Stroud.
