OKU Football Heads Into Bye Week

Oklahoma Union Cougar football is into their bye week this week before district play starts next week against Pawhuska.
The Cougars fell to Commerce on Friday night, 30-12, to drop to 0-3 on the season. Head coach Bruce Munden talked about the loss.
OKU now turns their attention to Pawhuska next Friday for their first district game. The Huskies are 3-0 to this point with convincing wins over Nowata, Meeker and Hominy, and are looking for their fourth win against Woodland coming up this Friday.
Going into the bye week, Munden said it's a chance to hit the reset button.
The Cougars meet Pawhuska at home on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
